LEsson Studio

I offer private, semi-private, and small-group music lessons designed to help students grow into confident, capable, and expressive musicians. Whether your child is just beginning band, looking for extra support with school music, preparing for auditions, or wanting to grow as a saxophonist or jazz musician, lessons are built around clear goals, consistent progress, and a positive learning environment. Each student receives instruction that supports their current level while helping them build strong fundamentals, better practice habits, and a deeper understanding of music.

Lesson Placement & Scheduling

Families may request the lesson plan that best fits the student’s current level, goals, and availability. Final placement is determined based on student level, instrument, goals, current enrollment, group compatibility, and scheduling availability. Group lessons and musicianship classes are offered at set studio times, while private lessons may allow for more flexible scheduling based on mutual availability.

Monthly tuition reserves the student’s weekly lesson time and is not based on individual attendance.

Small Group Lessons

45-minute weekly lessons | 3–5 students | $125/month

Small Group Lessons are perfect for beginners looking to get extra guidance on the fundamentals of playing their instrument. Students learn alongside a small number of peers while receiving support with posture, tone production, note reading, rhythm, fingerings, practice habits, and confidence. These lessons are a great option for families looking for high-quality instruction at a more accessible price point while still giving students the benefit of teacher feedback and peer motivation.

Semi-Private Lessons

45-minute weekly lessons | 2 students | $175/month per student

Semi-Private Lessons are ideal for students who would benefit from more individual attention while still learning with a peer. This option works well for siblings, friends, or students at a similar level who want focused help with fundamentals, school music, technique, rhythm, and musical confidence. Students receive more individualized feedback than in a small group while still benefiting from collaboration and shared learning.

Beginning Band Private Lessons

30-minute weekly lessons | 1 student | $220/month

Beginning Band Private Lessons are designed for students in their first few years of playing who would benefit from one-on-one support. These lessons help students build a strong foundation in tone, rhythm, note reading, instrument care, posture, embouchure, fingerings, and consistent practice routines. This plan is a great fit for students who may feel behind in class, want to feel more confident in school band, or simply enjoy music and want to make faster progress.

Developing Musician Lessons

45-minute weekly lessons | 1 student | $300/month

The Developing Musician Plan is ideal for intermediate students who are ready to move beyond the basics and become more independent musicians. Students in this plan work on improving tone quality, strengthening technique, expanding range, learning scales, developing rhythm skills, and preparing school music with greater confidence. This plan is especially helpful for middle school and early high school students who want to take their playing more seriously, prepare for concerts, participate in solo and ensemble, improve placement, or feel more prepared in band class.

Advanced Saxophone/Jazz Lessons

60-minute weekly lessons | 1 student | $380/month

Advanced Saxophone & Jazz Lessons are designed for serious students who want focused, high-level instruction in saxophone performance, jazz improvisation, audition preparation, and musical expression. Students may work on tone development, articulation, technical fluency, solo literature, jazz style, improvisation, transcription, honor band auditions, solo and ensemble preparation, college audition materials, and advanced musicianship. This plan is best for motivated saxophonists who are ready for a more detailed, goal-oriented approach.
